Enrollment Management Professionals

The Summer Institute for New Graduate Admissions Professionals focuses on the needs of those who have been working in the field, or in their current positions, for less than three years. Additionally, professionals with more experience in undergraduate, graduate, faculty, or related higher education environments, have also found the workshop to be useful and appropriate.

Program:
Utilizing intensive, small-group settings, the Summer Institute provides a broad overview of the issues and challenges faced by the profession and incorporates sessions specifically designed to prepare new professional to be successful in a complex, changing environment.
Summer Institute topics will include:
- Utilizing Technology in Graduate Recruitment and Admissions
- Ethical Issues in Graduate Admissions
- Legal Issues
- Successful Strategies for Recruiting Underrepresented Students
- Survival Tips for Graduate Admissions Professionals, and more
Registration and Payment Deadline:
Early Bird Registration (payment received by June 1, 2012):
Members: $600
New Members (includes individual membership): $750
Non-Members: $800
Registration and payment (received from June 2-22, 2012):
Members: $700
New Members (includes individual membership): $850
Non-Members: $900
All registrations and full payment must be received by Friday, June 22, 2012. Institute registration confirmations will be emailed to registrants within one week of receipt of registration.
Cancellations
Cancellations received in writing prior to June 22, 2012 will be eligible for 100% refund minus a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made after this date unless the program is cancelled. Registration is not final until payment is received. NAGAP will make a full refund of the registration fee to all participants if the program must be cancelled. However, NAGAP is not responsible for any charges or cancellation fees assessed by airlines, travel agents or hotels.
