Perspectives Journal

NAGAP Perspectives: A Newsmagazine for Graduate Admissions Professionals
Published quarterly, NAGAP Perspectives provides members with information about NAGAP activities, members as well as updates on topics of interest to graduate admissions professionals. Issues contain articles on current events and developments in the areas of recruitment, law, government, research and education, and issues that impact graduate students and graduate admissions professionals.

Submitting an article to NAGAP Perspectives:
Articles of particular interest for publication are graduate admissions research study results, how-to articles, success stories, reports of workshops or seminars and book reviews. Submissions should be sent to the editor. Submissions in electronic format in MS Word are preferred. APA style is preferred for documenting sources.

Deadlines for submission of articles and other materials for NAGAP Perspectives are:
  • Spring Issue: February 15 (Mailed to members in early April)
  • Summer Issue: May 15 (Mailed early July. The summer issue usually contains synopses of the sessions at the annual conference)
  • Fall Issue: August 15 (Mailed early October)
  • Winter Issue: November 15 (Mailed early January)

The NAGAP Perspectives Editor works with the members of the advisory Committee to develop the contents of each issue. Current members of the advisory committee are:
