    As we strive to provide equity in our admission review processes, it’s clear that “holistic review” must be more than a buzz phrase. Graduate enrollment professionals and faculty alike are slowly evolving to ensure admission practices provide more equitable access to graduate education. However, they do so while facing headwinds from deeply-rooted, and in some cases antiquated, approaches to application review along with uncertain potential ramifications of two significant cases before the Supreme Court.  Two projects have demonstrated means to help practitioners choose change that enhances equity in graduate education:  the NSF-INCLUDES Alliance IGEN (Inclusive Graduate Education Network), and the Equity in Graduate Education (EGE) Consortium.
